Empowering women by emotional strength and empathy could be a key to overcome societal pressures

The recent tragedy in Nepal has left the world reeling with shock and sadness. A highly educated nurse, who had dedicated her life to serving others, took her own life after her boyfriend refused to marry her due to societal pressures. This heartbreaking incident is a reminder of the challenges that women face in societies where traditional expectations still hold a great deal of sway and it is hard to overcome for the women in Nepal.

The victim of this tragedy was a highly educated nurse who was living her life serving as a healthcare field. Despite her accomplishments, she was unable to overcome the societal pressure to conform to traditional gender roles and expectations. Her boyfriend was a doctor by himself who had been in a relationship with her for five years, refused to marry her because his parents did not approve of her as a daughter-in-law.

The couple had already aborted two pregnancies, evidence of their love for each other, yet they were unable to overcome the social stigma surrounding their relationship. This tragic incident highlights the importance of emotional strength, mental health, and the willingness to fight against societal pressures in order to live a fulfilling life and also the dominating characters of men.

Although education is essential in empowering women and providing them with opportunities, it is not enough to combat the deeply ingrained patriarchal attitudes that continue to limit their potential. Women need to be supported not only in their education and career goals, but also in their personal relationships and their right to make their own choices.

It is crucial for societies to recognize the emotional toll that societal pressures can take on women and work towards addressing them. This means challenging traditional gender roles and expectations, promoting gender equality, and providing support and resources for women facing difficult situations.

While numerous non-governmental and governmental organizations work tirelessly towards gender equality, it is clear that there needs to be a better way to assist women and prevent such tragedies from occurring. One approach that may be effective is to empower women with emotional strength and empathy.

Emotional intelligence is a crucial tool that can help women develop a stronger sense of self-worth and self-love, which can enable them to overcome societal pressures and stand up for themselves. Empathy is especially important because it allows women to understand and relate to the experiences of others, regardless of their social status or background. It enables them to connect with other women and build supportive communities, where they can discuss issues, seek help, and offer support to one another.

It is also essential to remember that not all women have access to education, and they face an even greater challenge in navigating societal pressures. Therefore, it is important to reach out to them and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to overcome these challenges. Each one has a right to live and enjoy their life equally and fairly.

In conclusion, while non-governmental and governmental organizations continue to work towards gender equality, we must also focus on empowering women with emotional strength and empathy. By doing so, we can help women develop the tools they need to navigate difficult situations and overcome societal pressures. Ultimately, this will create a better world for all women, where they can feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential. We must work towards a society that recognizes the worth of every individual, regardless of gender, and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. Not only the organization there are many individuals who wants to do something to the society needs to join the hands to find the appropriate tools that really eradicate such problem,

As a women's rights activist, I urge everyone to join hands with me in the mission to create a safer and better world for women everywhere. It's disheartening to see how women are losing their lives due to the dominance of patriarchal and traditional societal norms that limit their freedom and potential that we need to break it and let the women out from that ceiling.
