The temper !

One little boy had a very bad temper that his father had noticed and was thinking about the changes. His father decided to control his temper with new experiment and handed him a

bag of nails and asked the little boy to hammer the nails whenever he lost his temper.

He hammered 37 nails into that fence on the first day of his trial. He was losing his strength that's the reason the boy gradually started to control his temper over the next few weeks. The number of nails he was hammering into the fence slowly decreased day by day. He knew he had to use his energy because of his temper. He discovered that it was easier to control his temper through his mind rather than hammering those nails into the fence.

Eventually, the day came when the boy controller his temper by his mind without hammering the nails on the fence. He decided to pass this message to his father the news that he learned. His father gave him another job to pull out a nail every day. According to he father, he started pulling up every nail from the fence controlling his temper.

The boy kept on working every day until he finished pulling out the nails from the fence. When he completed his job he called his father said he did all his assigned jobs and then he said he didn't possess anymore temper in his mind. His father walked toward the fence and led the boy to him.

“YOU HAVE DONE WELL, MY SON, BUT LOOK AT THE HOLES IN THE FENCE. THE FENCE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. WHEN YOU SAY THINGS IN ANGER, THEY LEAVE A SCAR JUST LIKE THIS ONE. YOU CAN PUT A KNIFE IN A MAN AND DRAW IT OUT. IT WON’T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU SAY I’M SORRY, THE WOUND IS STILL THERE.”

Lesson learned; Control your temper, your temptation, and anger because you never know when and where you are Gurung to someone. You never know when your word might hit in the heart of the people. Always be careful while expressing something otherwise you may later regret. Some things in life, you are unable to take back as it is already shattered.
